These terms explain how World Signs USA (“we”, “us”) works with customers. They apply when you use this website, ask us for a quote, or hire us to build, install or repair a sign. By approving a quote or using this website, you agree to these terms. If a signed quote or contract says something different, the signed document wins.
1. Using this website
- The information on this site is general. Prices, products and services can change without notice.
- The photos show real projects we built or installed. Business names and logos in those photos belong to their owners.
- Please do not copy our text, photos or designs for commercial use without our written permission.
- Do not use the site or the quote form to send spam, harmful files or false information.
2. Quotes
- Quotes are free. They are based on the information, measurements and photos you give us.
- A site visit may change the price if the real conditions are different from what we were told.
- A quote is valid for 30 days, because material and LED prices change often.
- Unless the quote says otherwise, prices do not include sales tax, permit fees, engineering drawings, landlord fees or electrical work at the panel.
- A quote is not a contract until you approve it in writing (signature, email or text message).
3. Deposit and payment
- A deposit of 50% is required before we start design, permits or production.
- The balance is due when the sign is installed or picked up, unless the quote says otherwise.
- The sign remains our property until it is paid in full.
- Unpaid balances may be charged reasonable collection costs and attorney fees, as allowed by Florida law.
4. Design and approval
- We will send you a proof (a drawing of the sign) before production.
- Production starts only after you approve the proof in writing.
- Please check spelling, phone numbers, colors and sizes carefully. Once you approve the proof, mistakes in the approved proof are your responsibility.
- Colors on a screen can look different from real materials and lit LEDs. Small differences are normal.
- 2 rounds of changes are included. More changes may cost extra.
5. Your logo and artwork
- When you send us a logo, name or artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use it.
- You are responsible for any claim that your sign uses someone else’s trademark or design.
- Designs we create for you can be used on your sign once the job is paid. Design files can be released on request; a fee may apply.
6. Permits and approvals
- Most outdoor and electrical signs in Miami-Dade and Broward need a permit from the city or county. When the quote includes permits, we prepare the engineering drawings and submit the permits for you.
- Permit fees, engineering and inspection costs are paid by you unless the quote includes them.
- You are responsible for getting approval from your landlord, property manager, plaza owner or HOA before we install. Many plazas have their own sign rules.
- If the city or landlord asks for changes to the design, the price and timeline may change.
- We cannot control how long a city takes to review or inspect.
7. Installation and the work site
- You agree to give us safe access to the work area on the scheduled day, including parking for our bucket truck.
- If power already exists at the sign location (within about 5 feet), we connect the sign to it. If there is no power there, new electrical work is quoted separately.
- Please tell us about anything hidden, such as underground pipes, irrigation, cables or weak walls. Before digging, we request utility locates through Sunshine 811, as Florida law requires.
- If we find hidden conditions (buried concrete, rock, damaged walls), we will tell you before doing extra work. Extra work may cost extra.
- When an old sign is removed, we fill normal mounting holes. Painting the wall is not included unless the quote says so.
8. Schedule and delays
Delivery and installation dates are our best estimate. Weather, hurricanes, permit reviews, inspections, landlord approvals and material shortages can cause delays. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, but we will keep you informed.
9. Changes and cancellations
- Changes after you approve the proof may change the price and the date.
- If you cancel before production starts, we refund your deposit minus the design, permit and other costs already spent.
- Signs are custom-made for your business and cannot be resold. Once production starts, the deposit is not refundable, and you may owe for work already done.
10. Warranty
- We warrant our workmanship and the electrical parts we supply (such as LED modules and power supplies) for 1 year from the installation date.
- If a covered part fails, we will repair or replace it, at our choice.
- The warranty does not cover damage from hurricanes, storms, lightning, power surges, accidents, vandalism, or work done by others. It also does not cover normal fading of paint or vinyl in the Florida sun.
- Parts made by other manufacturers keep their own manufacturer warranty, which we pass on to you.
- Please report any problem as soon as you notice it.
11. Repairs and service calls
Repair prices are based on what we find when we inspect the sign. Older signs can hide other problems that only appear once the sign is opened; we will tell you before doing extra work. A service call fee may apply, as listed in your quote.
12. Photos of your project
We may take photos of the finished sign and show them on our website and social media as part of our portfolio. If you prefer that we do not, just tell us in writing.
13. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not responsible for lost profits or other indirect damages. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that Florida law does not allow us to limit.
14. Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If there is a disagreement, please contact us first and we will try to solve it. If it cannot be solved, it will be handled by the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. The version in effect on the day you approve a quote applies to that job.
